Our First Vacation

 
 

Here are the pictures that I promised from the other entry. The first on is of Matthew and Dave at Don and Shelley's pool. The second is of our foot prints in the sand at Rehoboth. 

Water Baby

We took Matty for a little trip to visit his Aunt and Uncle in Galena, Maryland and also to Rehoboth Beach. His first experience with water on a large scale was at Shelly and Don's pool. Needless to say it took him no time at all start splashing and kicking. A true water baby. There was no fear just curiosity. By the end of the day we were putting his face underwater with no complaints.

The next day we (Gigi, Grandad, Dave and I) went to Rehoboth Beach for the day. When we arrived the tropical depression was right off shore making for some pretty awesome waves. We walked Matty down to the water and put his feet in. Again a little curious as to why it was a little cold and why there was so much of it. But after a few seconds it didn't even phase him. All in all we had a wonderful few days with Dave's parents and letting Matty experience the joy that is water.
